Klamath Basin Audubon Society

Mission

The Klamath Basin Audubon Society will provide the opportunity for all to experience and appreciate our region's biodiversity. We will offer activities of interest to educate people of all ages. We will work to protect and/or restore Klamath Basin species and their habitats.

Goals:

  1. The KBAS must find and implement ways consistent with our mission to attract the increased participation of new and existing members.
  2. The KBAS will promote knowledge and appreciation of our local environment to our members and to the general public of all ages.
  3. The KBAS will provide local leadership in achieving full regard for the environmental consequences of the choices that we all make both as individuals and as a society.
  4. The KBAS activities will maximize the long-term resolve of the people of the Klamath Basin area to actively defend and restore the biodiversity, biocomplexity and natural beauty of our native habitats.
